You are going to need to collect a few documents. If your exhusband remarried after your divorce, you are only entitled to benefits if you were married to him longer than she was. I realize that there are probably a lot of other "little things" that also apply and things change over the years. But that is the way the regs read when I was in, I retired about 10 years ago. I was the one in the service, I had no spouse or other dependents. But I do know that you'll at least need to have certified copies of your marriage certificate and his DD Forms 214. Take them to the nearest VA Office. They will tell you what else you need to do. Good Luck!
