European travel

Best way to get around on holiday in Europe and in European countries ..... holiday packages are a great way of finding your dream holiday or dream vacation destination

Places to stay or to lay your head - particularly apartments in Barcelona can be a wonderful city but too hot in the summer months.

Love is the battery of life....

Hi, -------------- Looks like a simple question, in fact it's a tough one: It depends on several factors: The season, your personality, how much time do you have, your transportation, are you ready to "get lost" in purpose and see the real things, how fussy you are about hotels / rooms / zimmers, your fields of interest, how flexible you are..... just few to mention. Personally I prefer the 2nd option..... -------------- Best regards,

I personally, would plan to get there and book a tenative but changeable flight home, then leave the rest open as possible.  All my European travels have always worked out more fun when the schedule has been loose.

I would do it before you go, use these sites that offer cheap hotels and then go to the hotels direct. I have a friend who seems to be able to find great deals. She spend hours on the net, but manages to saves hundreds and hundreds of pounds. She arranged to go to america from the uk with ten people and it cost her the same for the hotel and flights that it would have cost four people, she amazes me on how she does it.

She says that you just have to have the time and energy to spend hours on the net looking for great deals and then speak to the people direct

When traveling to Europe, it is always best to purchase your tickets in advance. That way, you aren't paying high prices for last minute tickets and are getting the best bang for your buck. Purchase travel insurance just in case some unexpected emergency comes up that prevents your travel. 1-800 Fly Europe (www.1800flyeurope.com 1- 800 359 3876) is a really great company to use for trips to Europe. They are not a travel agency, but a consolidator, so they sell tickets at wholesale prices. You can also rent cars and hotels in Europe with them, and get additional discounts for booking everything together. (And they offer travel insurance!) The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and try and work with what you have. Plus, if you find a better price somewhere, they try to match or beat the rate apples to apples.

Its best to book everything in advance - if you are looking for good rates and a hassle-free travel.

It's practical to manage/plan before going to Europe because there are lot of places that you want and the best thing to do is to note all of the information and what's the first place to go.
