I never heard of tipping the charter driver . But of course it certainly is a good thought . I am sure what ever consideration you give will surprise the driver.
The real oversight in this country is the poor waitress handling your food beckoning to you every need and of course mainly over looked cleaning up after you . The waitress is the one oversight in the minimum wage increase . some get as little as 2.25 yup two dollars and twenty five cents an hour . I personally have seen a 38 hour check for 1.85 after taxes yes a dollar eighty five . the restaurant owners take advantage of the staff in such a rediculous way because theres a loophole in the fair wage act on the federal and state level that allows them to do such very very few disregard this option of such a loophole and take advantage of such fully . Follow your heart in such regards as to tipping any service oriented individual what would you want to be treated with in regards to fine or outstanding service .
I personally order a cup of coffee for 2.00 read my paper maybe carry on a certain level of polite conversation . a few smiles and leave a 20.00 on the table. The next time I came back to the very same restaurant for coffee . Not only was the coffee on the table within seconds and adequate supply of creamer and sugar available a paper folded and delivered with my coffee without even asking it was maintained and refilled several times but the waitress actual was so happy to see me . And she actually remembered my name . from then on I increased the tip to 25.00 . I am sure it made they're day as it seemed the waitresses would actually draw straws as to whom would actually wait on me each day I return. A CERTAIN LEVEL OF GIDDYNESS WOULD BE THE ENTERTAINMENT in Being greeted with a huge smile and they are almost jumping for joy realising that yes I am a great tipper and they are going to get a overwhelming reward for being courteous kind and attentive . More people ought to follow suit in regards to those in the service industry . If you can afford it give it there are plenty who ignore such respectful tipping of consideration.
