I agree with Elden.  Some people do not see business as being a part of their personal world and sort of give themselves permission to lie;cheat;steal because after all, "it's business."    It's as if they have a split personality and they think you are stupid and naive if you point out that what they are doing is morally wrong. The person who can integrate their business side and private side into one wholesome and honest life is a treasure to behold.  We know some like that, but far too few.
