4 thumbs up

1) You are getting this windows startup error because this file winsys16_061230.dll has been deleted by an

antivirus or spyware remover programme.

2) And this entry is in windows startup programme, as this entry in WINDOWS REGISTRY

3) Type regedit in windows run prompt and search for winsys16_061230.dll this entry, you will find

"C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winsys16_061230.dll start"

Modify this entry to as below :-
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,rundll32.exe start

4) Restart your PC & check the error will not come........

I am having this exact problem, but when I go to regedit-do I Browse or hit enter. I cannot find winsys16_061230.dll in there-there are thousands of different things I did not see this. How do I search for it?  Thanks!

If you can't find winsys16_061230.dll, you can go under Edit open Find or hit Ctrl+F and type winsys16_061230.dll and ask to find or you can do it manually by openning HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then open SOFTWARE then open Microsoft then open Windows NT then open CurrentVersion then open Winlogon and come down to Userinit. Highlight Userinit and once it is highlighted go to the top of the screen and open Edit and click on Modify and paste or type C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,rundll32.exe start and hit OK and restart and no more error.
