Love is the battery of life....

A:

Hi Lilly,

An excellent question.  I followed it and since no one dared to answer I'll take the lead.  Anyone who reads a lot knows that the book is 99 out of 100 better than the movie.  Years ago I wondered why and came to the conclusion that the events, as written in the book, leave much to the reader imagination. The characters are built slowly, the emotions are built page by page, the dialog is set with hints and guesses, all is built step by step, interelated.... at the movie all has to be quick and focused .....
I absoletly agree with your comments (very smart & sensitive) I felt the same.  It happend to me many times B4 (e.g: Papilon).
So, take it easy, lower your expectations, and always remeber that the book is 99 out of 100 better than the movie.
Best regards,
