Environment protection

I will start off by saying not enough. The EPA is trying to protect the environment in many areas, and if you look at their web site you will see the work they are doing. It is a huge task and they are just one agency fighting to save the environment.   

Currently it is buckling under the presure of auto and oil industry and many other concerned parties. Hope it do something really good at Copenhagen environment summit.

I can tell you if they got rid of that windbag Al Gore It would help

Because the land was stolen from the orginal people and the new thiefs only see the land and all upon it as something to exp[loit for personal gain. Along with the dying ochens, add to this over population at the 11 hour not much left to destroy and expect from a  coruptION WORLD WIDE. The next generation will really see and pay for all of our exploytation of something so delicate and precious as the now poisoned mother. Land is something not for sale or to exploit, this is humans doing the following says it all to well

TOUCH THE EARTH We did not think of the great open plains, the beautiful rolling hills, and the winding streams with tangled growth, as wild. Only to the white man was nature a wilderness and only to him was the land infestred with wild animals and savage people. To us it was tame. Earth was bountiful and we were surounded with the blessings of the Great Mystery. Not until the hairy man from the east came and with brutal frenzy heaped injusticen upon us and the familys we loved was it wild for us. When the very animals of the forest began fleeung from his approach, then it was for us the WILD WEST began.

Us done to protect environment not much because we are selfish and destroyers of earth only when it hits home us do we care some. If we did care for the environment we would not have destroyed it with over population of ourselves. We would be vegetarians. Did you know the sick act of eating anothers dead flesh that this unnatural evil of trying to make animals into machines, the run off from these farms has already killed 37 us rivers and over fishing has caused 92 dead spots in the ochens.

 Do not look for any government dept you protect the environment because they are in great part the destroyes of the environment, many dirth pockets were lined with dirty dollars to plaster the earth with cement and sell autos. Their  was greed first and zero else.

 Unlike other countries who are not fat and bike it everywhere.

I think the recent US accomplishment for environment protection is the clean diesel wherein EPA standardized diesel. They do innovative programs to accelerate emission reductions from the older diesel engines to provide quality air.
