Envious of my friends

Help, I'm so envious of my one of my friends. she's beautiful, with light brown complexion, hazel eyes and beautiful curly hair. And i feel so ugly. I don;t wanna feel this way but i can't help it. I find myself avoiding her so I stop feeling bad about myself. Don't get me wrong I'm a pretty girl but i just ugly when i'm around her.

That is so sad, that you cannot just enjoy her company without being jealous of something she has no control over. She must not be a very good friend, or you must need to be the person getting all the attention wherever you go. Either way, there isn't much you can do. You see yourself as pretty, so it isn't self-esteem. You just want to be prettier. I guess that in time, when you learn to value people for the love they give you, the friendship they share with you, and the support they show you, you might just get over needing to be the top dog. I hope she isn't hurt by you avoiding her. That would be very sad.

God made us different from each other, He gave us different talents and abilities. Just be thankful that you are healthy, that you have family that love you and support you. You need to count your blessings everyday and focus less on others. You just don't know how her life is, if she's happy or not.
