I run a messageboard for a daytime actor and one of the new members has posted several comments about the person who runs this actor's unofficial fanclub.

She has actually accused her of things, such as stealing money, and bullying other members, etc.

I happen to agree with this poster because I have had some bad experiences with the fan club president myself but I don't want to get into trouble legally by allowing these comments to stay on my board...And I don't want it to cause problems between my members.   Should I just delete or let it stay up?  Thanks

S.

151 thumbs up

The only things in life you regret are the risks you didn't take.

If you're worried about legal problems, I'd suggest contacting an attorney. Otherwise, if you made it clear before members posted notes on the message-board that anything of bad taste would be taken down, I'd just delete them.
