Does endorsement make a difference? Is Huckabee, Obama or Hillary better off because Chuck Norris, Oprah or Streisand support them, or is just an opportunity for some extra screen time for these people?
It's a tough call who's hankering for more TV tome, and who can actually help. I'm not sure Oprah really needs Obama to get some more TV time...
I guess it can be helpful, though probably most people don't need Chuck Norris to tell them how to vote.
The Candidates are actually better off. You wouldn't believe how influential celebrity support is. It's really sad to admit but many Americans will buy the product, in this case the candidate, just because a celebrity endorsed them.
Hopefully people will be able to make their own decisions for themselves.

Political endorsements means very little in American politics. Ask Howard Dean who was endorsed by former Vice President Al Gore 4 years ago. Dean lost the Iowa primary one week later and never recovered.
Republicans vote for who they think the best republican candidate is, democrates vote for who they think the best democrate candidate is, and the masses of undiceded inpedendant voters who hold what they call the swing vote are usually the deciding factor for who wins elections and celebrity endorsment can sway these people significantly especially someone like oprah.
