I don't see an end coming. There will be catastophies that will kill lots of people (wars, terror, famine, environmental disasters) but I think enough people will survive all this to keep the ball rolling.

That's an interesting question....

2100 AD - Global warming.  (I think)

We're a plague and the only thing that will stop us is us. (Our own greed, consumption and waste, which are topics that are not that unrelated.)

Just ignore this answer and move on to the next. I'm so paranoid, I'm thankful to every living day. I have no idea how or when, but something tells me that it'll have something to do with greed.

Just wanted to know some opinions on this issue, it's not as if a straight answer exists. For further reading into some possible outcomes for Humanity (good and bad) I recommend

Interesting topic, I wish I had time to read the website you link to. Care to share some of the views from the site? Anything pretecularly interesting?

The website basically presumes that Technology is advancing in an exponential rate, and has far surpassed natural evolution. Meaning that in the near future (Kurzweil says 2025-2030) technology will allow us to radically transform and enhance ourselves. Immortality, full immersion VR, strong AI. Things that may sound like science fiction are turning out to be not only possible, but very close.I'd advise you to read up at least some of those topics, or just find one of Kurzweil's books: The Age of Spiritual Machines, and The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology are his best, in my opinion.

Space and time I can not tell ( Mathematians can't you use Einstein formulas?). As for the cause "KNOWLEDGE"! I think in many ways human beings are slowly exterminating themselves

Life, in its most absolute sense, can never end. It is what we make it to be. Time is simply a finite human belief and not a principle of the universe itself. Life is God and we are God's ideas. It's up to us to improve our thoughts and thus our lives and this can only be done through spiritual growth and understanding. Our humanity will improve as our ability to love improves.
