Elvis Presley station wagon.Where is it? Why is it so valuable? It"s the coolest car I have ever seen.
Here are the details of the owner:
Gary Clifford Phone: 727-530-0075 Largo, FL 33771
I guess its expensive because anything that is related to Elvis Presley, a culture symbol, is.
Partly because it was Elvis's, and partly because it was custom made. Cadillac didn't actually make station wagons. They made hearses, and I assume, still do. But a station wagon is a special order. It was custom modified from a Fleetwood by a company called American Sunroof Company. The only other one that was made was made for Dean Martin and its whereabouts are unknown. It was also probably the most daily used car in Elvis's collection, and was still in use after his death at Graceland. He gave it to Colonel Parker at one time, but Elvis borrowed it so much that Parker got tired of tracking it down all the time and gave it back to him.
