Electric sockets in some of my bath rooms have no power

Dear Expert, Question: Why the electric sockets in some of my bath rooms have no power? Symptom: There are four bath rooms in my house. One is on the ground floor, one on 1st floor, and two on 2nd floor. Each bath room has one electric socket. A while ago, all the electric sockets in all bath rooms had power, which means when I plugged a lamp, the lamp would be on. But recently, for some reasons which I do not know, the electric socket in the bath room on the ground floor still has power, but all other electric sockets in the bath rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors do not have power any more, which means when I plug a lamp, the lamp will not be on. The electric socket in the bath room on the ground floor has a ground fault circuit interrupter and the sockets in other bath rooms do not have. I tested interrupter, which has no impact on the power in the sockets in other bath rooms. I also examined the main electrical panel of our house and did not find any breaker jumped out. Question: Why the electric sockets in the three bath rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors have no power? Thank you very much in advance for you help. Adam

I'm guessing that the ground floor outlet is the problem.  GFI outlets do fail quite often and in unexpected ways.  The other outlets are powered through the outlet, so there could be a internal failure, the GFI could work and the rest wouldn't.  Try removing the wires from the GFI and temporarily wire nut them together to see if the power comes back on the upper floors.  If they do, then the GFI is at fault, even if it seems to work.
