I think that it is time for a democrat to get into office. I also think that there are a great many people who are confused as to why McCain has come back (since he ran against Bush eight years ago) with such different political views. You have to wonder if he simply changed to more extreme viewpoints temporarily in order to appeal to the American public.

I don't think so. He is too old and belongs to the old crop of American leaders who look at America in the old perspective in relation to the rest of the world. When it comes to the general election he won't be as appealing to the younger generation of voters as Obama or Hillary will be. His support for the continued presence of American troops in Iraq doesn't help things. He is also very stubborn and short tempered.

I think one of the democratic candidates will get it especially Obama, he appears to have the greatest chance of going to the White House.

McCain needs to retire and become an advisor or a consultant. 

If he does win, we are moving to Austrailia.
