A:Global warming does not mean that the entire planet is warm all over in the same time. This phenomena means that basically the sun waves bouncing off the planet and usually sent back to space are trapped between the earth and the unosphere (the upper limit of the atmosphere) and create a green-house effect that traps all the heat in around the globe. The temperatures will still be different between the side away from the sun (Winter) and the side closer to the sun (Summer) but in AVERAGE, the temperatures will increase over time in total and will create disturbances around the globe.
The disturbances are both in weather aspects (such as instabilities in air flow that create typhoons in unpredictable places) and life-cycle apsects in general... i.e. Bears that can't hibernate, baby birds being born when there is no anough food around as the worms are reproducing earlier now etc. The effects are very strong and address all aspects of life.
I strongly suggest to watch Al Gore's movie "The Inconvenient Truth". You can get it on Amazon.
