How long after having two glasses of wine is the alcohol out of my body? (to take medicine that doesn't go together with alcohol..)
Certainly several hours... to be safe I would wait something like 5 or 6 hours. Alcohol really doesn't wear off that quickly, and even if you feel like it's not effecting you, it's still in your bloodstream.
Alcohol detoxification really varies between people.A normal human being metabolizes alcohol at the rate of 1/2 ounce per hour. Thats about 4 ounces of wine an hour. The liver can metabolize one in an hour and therefore alcohol builds up in your body if you consume large amounts. Do the math take an extra hour.
