If somone pursueded you into prostitution and you declined, then you were not pursueded. So infact, it was not effective at all.

Your spelling is a horror ("persuaded" [2], "in fact") and you may have misspelled "reclined" as "declined."  If so, the someone was in fact quite persuasive, depending, of course, on the price you demanded for your services.
