I'd Agree with OronD that there is no appropriate time for children. When the time is right, it will happen. And the time being right may not be according to you, it might be according to what your child will have to be old enough to do, if you believe in that sort of thing. The best thing you can do is be open to them all the time, and hope the bank doesn't break. In this day and age there are always coraspondance courses you may be able to take in order to finish your Masters as well.
