There's a company DDG Records that is located in Vancouver, B.C. Could that be it?

Chriss' guess about DDG in Vancouver is true, but it isn't the answer to your question.
I believe the records you are seeing on eBay were manufactured in Germany by Deutsche Grammophon, a pioneer in Digital recording.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
