I have a wedding to go to, and I'm afraid to eat too much.
Should I not eat all day long so that I won't exceed my calories intake for the day?
It would be better to eat lightly at the meal before going to the wedding. If you don't you might find that hunger will make you eat more than you should.
Also don't drink before the meal , Alcohol will develop the hunger try postponing it till after you've eaten.

I wouldn't make such a big deal about it. One day of bad eating won't hurt you if you normally eat well. Counting calories really isn't the way to go for long-run success.
It's a wedding - have some fun and enjoy it!
