Love is the battery of life....

Hi,
No offence please but that is a clear sign he is not matured (at least not matured enough).  The word "divorce" shouldn't be used at all (unless it's real time to divorce).  You should discuss that issue with him.  Above all you should define what are the limits you won't cross when you argue (e.g: Not to mention the word "divorce", not to use bad language, to exclude certain words from your vocabulary..... etc)....
Life is getting tough, even to argue there are rules..... lol....
Best regards,

"Drive it like you stole it"

He is acting childish.  He is using the word "divorce" to get his way in the argument.  That word should only be used when you mean it.  He shouldn't be threatening you.  Some men use the "divorce" threat to keep you from continuing the argument, and to lower your self esteem.  To make it seem like your the one at fault for your arguing, when in fact it takes two to tango.  It's his way of not accepting fault.  Best of luck to you.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply,

speak kindly, leave the rest to God.

Hi,

You husband has emotional immaturity.  He threatens you with divorce so you will not continue arguing with him.  When he is in a good mood, you should talk to him and ask him why he mentions the word divorce and if he means it or not.  At that time you both need to agree not to use that word so easily.

Take care.

next time he does it give him a card for the most expensive lawyer in town and tell him you love him but to either pick up the phone or sit down and discuss his disagreement with you like an adult. Prove to him that you won't stand for this kind of behavior but you are willing to hear his side in a calm mature way.

Fool me once,

shame on you!!

Fool me twice,shame on me!

because he is just trying to scare you into doing what he wants..trying to dominate you.

next time he says that, say,"ok!"he'll stop giving you that threat!
