You can always count on a gypsy or pirate to be fast n easy n cheap!  Beside the basic foundation of long skirt (girl) or jeans/pants (boy), you can borrow jewelry, scarves, perhaps an eyepatch and fake knife.  Add the appropriate makeup and voila!
