Easier picture preview

Is anyone familiar of an add on for windows which will open a picture preview screen when putting the cursor on the file instead of clicking on it. I'm looking for the same add-on to Firefox as well?

The "Directory Opus" file manager (http://www.gpsoft.com.au) has this option.

Are you familiar with any Firefox add-on which does the same thing. I.E, when set to do so, scrolling with the cursor over a picture will enlarge it into a bigger screen.

CoolIris released a very nice version for Firefox. Very much recommended.
