Early Retirement

If you have enough money, and you've saved a lot and have enough to live on comfortably for the rest of your life, would you consider early retirement?

A retirement decision isn't always a question of money; one of the major factors is job satisfaction. I decided to take early retirement and I still believe it was a wise decision. I was able to foresee many problems in my department and I also felt there was no where I could move. Another factor to consider is how you will use your time: hobbies, continuing education, travel, etc. Time utilization is perhaps almost as important as money.

I think it varies between the people on this planet. I for instant won't be able to live a month without a job . I guess it's this quest for a achievement. I was once unemployed for 4 months it was horrible, money wasn't the issue I just couldn't spend my time enjoying myself , I had to get up and do something , it was like looking for a purpose. I am pretty sure there are people out there that can and are already having such a life . Personally I think being occupied with hobbies is something to do on your spare time  not all the time , it kind of losses it's purpose .I guess capitalism has conquered me.
