I have moved around the world quite a bit and have had horrible allergy attacks. To me it sounds like you may be allergic to dust (or possibly mold if there is any in the apartment). I do not know where you moved from, but it could be any plants or trees surrounding your apartment. If taking over the counter medicines don't work, you really should go to your doctor to get tested.
