What is   E_FAT19LA.EXE

It shpws as being in my computer on TaskManager but I can not find it by doing a search of my computer files.

Are you sure it's not misspelled, I couldn't find anything on a task named E_FAT19LA.EXE neither as a virus or spyware link.

Ian,

It is spelled corectly  E_FATLA19.exe

 It is invisible on a windows search even if I make system files viewable.

Yet, when I look at what files are open or in use while on my computer  using the windows task manager ... it shows up.

 

I'd like to remove it from my computer but without knowing where it is ... I can not fremove it.

 

I may try a DOS search and removal

Hello Warren, I could find something on E_FATi9LA.EXE so I guess you've accidentally replaced the i with a 1. Anyway, this task is actually EPSON status monitor 3 and not a malware. If you want to remove it, remove/uninstall the status monitor.
