trust me you don't want to pay for it. Go ahead throw it away and go get a new tv. Plasma and LCD are really expensive to repair. Best buy has a service paln that you can buy with a tv. and it covers if it gets struck, or surge. Everything but abuse. one time charge and they pay the rest.
