can a plasma tv be repaired when damage is a result of lightning shock?

domiceli,

It is posible to repair the plasma tv even if damage is the resault of lghtning shock.
Did the lightning hit the TV directly? Was it pluged in and turned on? I assume that it won't turn on at all, now?
please send me some information.

trust me you don't want to pay for it. Go ahead throw it away and go get a new tv. Plasma and LCD are really expensive to repair.  Best buy has a service paln that you can buy with a tv. and it covers if it gets struck, or surge. Everything but abuse. one time charge and they pay the rest.

I am guessing that you can repair it but it might be cheaper just to go and bye a new one?
