E-mail Addresses Replaced with the Word "Undefined"

I have lost e-mail address access when typing the initial letters/numbers into the TO, CC, and BCC lines. It will show the name but not the address and in it's place says "undefined". If I go to the contact list, everything is in order and the e-mail addresses are all there. What happened?

When you find out let me know.  I am having same problem.  I had a power surge and think it could be related, but do not know.
