Dutch ad market

I'll be glad to receive some indication for the Netherland advertising Market

1.  size of radio advertising market as well as TV and seperatly the cables

2.  indications regarding tariff  (per minute etc.) for radio advertising ( including the food chain- how the price is cut among the channel ad, agency etc.) and the same for TV and Cables

3. I understood that there are 30 Dutch radio channels – I'll be glad to know the "Pareto status" - who are the small number of channels that has the main share of this market

1) I have looked, but I haven't found any information about that.

2) In the Netherlands there are several companies dealing with advertising on radio and tv. The biggest are the STER (for all public stations except the regional), ORN for the regional public stations, and IP (from RTL). Radio 538, one of the biggest stations and SkyRadio, also very big, have their own advertising departments.

As far as I know most of the informaiton you're looking for is not avialable to the public. However, according to ZenithOptimedia (2006), overall advertising expenditure in the Netherlands in 2005 was €3.7bn. (see here)

The radio market share was 7.7% in 2001 (see here) and the tv market share was 37.2%.

Main radio stations: Radio 538, Radio 2, Sky Radio. See here

Hope this helps.
