Why does hair keep its shape when it gets dry?

I find your question a bit uncommon, usually hair losses it's shape after being dry. A lot of people are annoyed by it. The hair poofes up and disorganized. A good solution for this would be some hair spray, combing and the use of conditioner which is very important.
