RE: Dry skin and feet

This condition could lead to serious illnesses because all sorts of bacteria, fungi, etc. can enter the body through these cracks. It would be a good idea to soak your feet in a solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide  to kill the germs and then rub down th dry skin with a moisturizing cream. Don't wear any kind of socks other than cotton which allows the feet to breathe. The best thing to do is visit your physician for more serious treatment.

In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injury

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona.

Good answer by Brosen above - I agree with all he or she says.

It might also be worth bathing your feet in a dilute solution of Apple Cider Vinegar - this can be both cleansing and healing for inflamed tender skin

I've had success with Podiatrist’s Secret Total Foot Recovery lotion. It combines an alpha-hydroxy fruit acid formula with deep penetrating Urethin, the ingredient recommended by podiatrists to soften and bring new health and comfort to damaged feet. With regular use, your feet will become softer and silky smooth to the touch. (Urethin helps break down hardened, callused skin and eliminate cracks and fissures and the lotion has no fragrance so you don't have to worry about irritation.) You can read more about it here.

RE: Dry skin and feet

i have dry legs all the time the way i clear that up is to put on lotion.or the reason maybe is because you aren't drinking enough liquids like try drinking a lot of water, exspecilly when its really hot out.the reason why i say this is because the reason why your skin and feet are dry is because they are not moist.

I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. She'll be left behind however when we at last head off on a ski vacation on the amazing Snow Train

Other sites I like to visit are:

Whiplash Injury

Skin Treatment

Europe Vacation Destinations

Apple Cider Vinegar

RE: Dry skin and feet

I have just finished chemotherapy and the skin on my hands and feet cracked terribly. I used olive oil rubbed in two or three times a day then overnight then gloves and socks put on top. This will moisturise and nourish the skin.
