Drunk Driving in Ellicott City Maryland ...

I was recently pulled in Ellicott City Maryland for suspicion of drunk driving. I only had a few drinks but blew a 1.1 on the breathalyzer. The police officer arrested me, and took to Howard County booking. Anyway, I can't believe that my blood alcohol level was 1.1, I only had 4 beers over 1.5 hours and I weigh 180. Is there anyway to challenge the validity of the BAC? I am worried because I hear that the judges in Ellicott City are pretty tough on DWI offenders. Please give me some advice on what I should do.

How can you only have 4 beers and blow a 1.1 BAC??  This is not possible! Did you eat over the last week? You must have had about 10-12 beers at least to blow a 1.1 over the hour and a half. That is a lot of drinking. In any event I think the BAC in maryland is .08 thus why you got arrested for dwi / DUi. If I were you I would search for a DWI Lawyer in Ellicott City immediately. Hopefully this is your first offense and you will get the slap on the wrist along with a PBJ. Contact a few lawyers quickly and choose the best. Good luck and happy drinking...

Targetlaw a lawyer directory

there are 2 court appearances you have to make in Maryland for a drunk driving offense. The first is in front of the MVA (Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration) which determines the status of your driver's license. You will need a criminal lawyer representing you here. The second appearance is in criminal court which is in Ellicott City MD. You will need a criminal attorney representing you here as well.

If you have any previous offenses, the judge, and any extenuating cirmcumstances will determine your sentence.

It was just suggested to me that you should do a

lawyer search for the right type of lawyer. I don't know about the DWI laws in Maryland, but I would agree you should make a phone call to a Maryland DWI attorney. I called a lawyer the other this evening about my son who was charged with aggravated assault and underage drinking. After doing a search, I found the right attorney.

Ok now i dont see people pointing this out. a 1.1 means there is more alcohol in your system than blood....you would be dead long before that.. .08 is usaully the limit, 1.1 is almost 13 times that..... i have a brethealyzer and the highest i have ever got it while drinking haevily at home was a .20 and that was with over a 5th of liquor in me, either you made a mistake in typing this or you wont be charged with this offense because you are dead....any questions  my email is

Yeah either you had more drinks than you can remember or the breathalizer was off. I would recommend seeking representation with a maryland criminal lawyer if you really believe that you only had 4 beers.
