Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

You do have dreams, you simply don't remember them.  As per your description you most probably have "disturbed sleep".   That causes you not to sleep well.  The signs: You turn from side to side every 10 minuts, you wake up many times, every little noise makes you get up, when you get up in the morning you don't feel fresh and energetic (but feeling like you need to sleep much more), you need to sleep at the afternoons, you go to bed early.  If those are your symptoms better consult a proffesional doctor.  Nothing to be concerned about !.
Best regards,

Never Give up! Fight to the DEATH for what yoiu want, eventually you'll get it! If not what you want, what you need.

Yes you should be concerened. The're two things that make you have dreams; number 1 SEX, number 2 drugs. If you don't take drugs, don't start. I am a Pre-med, Pre-Law student. My biology professor told the entire class that even if you don't have a partner, it is healthy to put yourself in check occasionaly. I still have an occasional wet dream. If you wake up in the middle of one, finish it off. I used to feel guilty about doing it. But I'm 54, and once I quit feeling embarsed about things, I'm less depressed.

Some people are more incline to remember their dreams then others, I think it's got to do with both sleeping patterns and other habits as well as a connection to your thoughts and emotions, if you don't it's no reason to be worried, however if you want to remember them, for whatever reason, there are some things that can help.

1) don't go to sleep with the TV or music on, or fall asleep while reading a book. Take your time to relax in bed and let thoughts and feeling from the day come and go till you fall asleep. Before you fall asleep try to have intention to remember the dream, you don't have to maditate on it or anything, just say to yourself "Tonight I'm going to remember my dream".

2) Don't stay in bed a long time after waking up, set an alarm clock and get out of bed as soon as you wake up.

 3) start a dream diary - write whatever you remember from a dream in it, if you remember nothing, write "I don't remember" but do write something in there everyday. Even if it's just one item or one small fragment from a dream.

4) Try to have enough hours to sleep -  about 8 per night.

NOTICE: By the time you have noticed this notice, you will have noticed that this notice is not worth noticing.

As is stated above, you probably do have dreams and just do not remember them upon awakening.  If you didn't dream, you wouldn't get REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, and you would be experiencing many physical symptoms by now (such as generalized fatigue, irritability, feeling of "not feeling right", and other symptoms).  Since you do not mention such feelings, I assume that you do have dreams, do not remember them, and are OK, and have nothing to worry about.  If you continue to be concerned, consult a sleep laboratory which will monitor your sleep for several nights, and determine if there is anything to worry about.
