Can you believe that Dr. Phil is getting divorced?
He's always made such a big deal of walking with his wife at the end of every show, and she was always with him, nodding at his every word.
I wonder how this will effect his show...
He might become more sympathetic to his guests' difficulties. I often feel that he's a little too smug, and a little overbearing. Maybe now it will be easier to react to him in a supportive way.
I think he's doing a pretty good job as it is, and he did not become such a famous psychologist because he doesn't care or understand people.
Besides, I think it's disgusting the way people turn on him when he's down, and I wish him and Robin that they work out their difficulties.
I am sure this will not hurt his show - the question should be what will it do to his family. Lately the news of his endeavors has not been too good. More time on the marriage and less on the popularity might help. His show will not last forever but our families do unless we alienate them. Time to check priorities.
