Downloading

Maybe your browser is not allowing downloads and is blocking the site. Do you see a yellow bar appearing on the top of your browser when you are trying to download?

Your firewall or antivirus software maybe blocking the download. Try disabling both and see if it works then.

It probably has something to due with (as I'm learning) de-fault settings.  I just bought an ACER with Windows Vista, promising to get upgraded to Windows 7.  What a mess.....In my day, functions were allot easier..Get some "tech support" or, as I am learning to do, ask a 10year old! I think lido is right. It's probably your firewall and antivirus applications causing the problem. When the yellow bar appears and asks you if you want to allow this download, click on it, and proceed from there.

By the way travler, thank you for the laugh, you are so right on! You made my day!! When in doubt, ask a kid. They know more at 10 or 12 about computers, than we'll ever know. Thanks again!
