Double paned windows

Can double panes of glass be taken apart, cleaned, and then be recharged with nitrogen (other other suitable gas) then resealed and reinstalled in door/window frames?  Who does this or where can I get it done? Any ideas on costs?

Home improvement projects, "Get'er done."

I don't know, but it sounds costly.

Life is a one lap race. Make many pitstops.

Depending on the brand and design of your windows it may be possible to buy new panes already charged and sealed. Just about any quality glass company can make them. This is the easiest and least costly method. You replace the old with the new. Not all windows are designed with this repair being possible. Some have to be replaced totally.
