Just about any dog.

I'm not crazy about poodles (my fingernails get caught on their fur) and I don't much care for purse dogs - but I'd pet just about any kind of dog (or cat).

I'm not picky!

I enjoy stray dogs. I recently had an encounter with a really cool stray that hung around for the longest time. He was a chow/collie mix maybe. Very noble looking and was very cautious with me. With much advice from my beloved Equus on how to handle him, I finally coaxed him to eat out of my hand with an occasional pat on the head. Everyday or so, I would make more progress with him. We named him "2 Tone" because he was black and white. I saw in his eyes a troubled life. He roamed with other strays and seemed to be the pack leader. Other times he seemed to be a loner. One day, I saw him trotting down the side of the road about 5 miles from my house. I was unable to assist him on his journey...at least he was headed back in the right direction, I thought. That was about 2 months ago and I never saw him again. I still look for him now and then. I really don't have the proper time to give a dog, but 2 Tone would have been a good one.

Thumbs Up FB Sweetheart for sharing our tale or is it " Tail " of 2-Tone .  We have high hopes that he found himself a loving family and is now living the good life .

I love all dogs , all animals for that manner .  I am partial to larger breeds of dogs , not really in to what I call a  " Catdog ", JK referred to them as a purse dog .  I myself like animals better than some people I have come across in life , more honest , trustworthy and genuine . What you see is what you get .  It's hard to beat the love of a good dog , cat or horse .  And of course the love of a special Man . I am grateful for all ................

Hello my friend, and friends in this question.

On behalf of my fellow Dogs, I would like to sincerely, thank you all for the love and kindness that you give to us each and every day. As much as you humans love us, we in turn love you too. It is the highlight of our life when we are able to choose a good owner and best friend. It is difficult sometimes to train you to our needs but, most of the time you figure it out.  In the course of my lifetime I have taught my human to throw a frisby perfectly, toss a ball, how to read a newspaper with ripped edges and tooth holes in it. He has also learned exactly, what time I perfer to eat and when I want to go out. Humans are really amazing! We will allow most humans to pet us, but we know who the bad ones are so we give you a little nip in hopes you will move on to a goldfish or turtle (they need little interaction). I saw 2 tone the other day,  he is quite happy being a gypsy. He is grateful for having met you, but has to keep moving, he has many friends he takes care of out there. I'd love to stay and chat but it seems that my human friend can't make it to the bottom of the driveway for the paper, so, I am off...It's a Ruff life! HowwwwLLLLL..

Beau the dog~

PS----- I am from Catahoula, Louisanna-----------yeee haaaaaaa

PPS---- Quit thinkin we want to be human, we don't, we are quite content being Dogs....

I love toy dogs like Chihuahua and Pug. They look so cute, fashionable and are easy to carry. :)
