Most definitely yes. Once dogs start biting people they very rarely stop.

I think that something should be done, but I think that getting rid of the dog is a cruel and easy solution.

What I thin they should do is have a few sessions with a professional trainer or a dog "psychologist" to try and understand the reason for the biting and to train the dog out of that bad habit.

Most professional dog trainers say to get rid of dogs when they are biting people. As you cant normaly train them out of it.
