Dog in pain

Can you give your dog tylenol? Playing in yard and slipped in the grass and hurt her left side.

Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

I don't have a dog, but I can refer you to a web site that has an answer to your question from a vet.

I don't think you can give Tylenol. Uncoated baby aspirin or regular adult aspirin maybe. Your gonna have to know the right dosage. Any time you have any health related questions about your pet. Please Call your veterinarian.

NOOOOOOO some people medicines can destroy a dogs kidneys. You can go to a Grain Store or Pet Store . There are products there for just this. Ask yourself this..would you take a drug yourself that a vet recommended for your dog? of course not right. Call yor vet anytime you have a question , they are always ready to help.

I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.

Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective?

I rembember when i had a new puppy and the vet told me never to use human medications so I guess the answer to your question is no.

PLEASE do not experiment with human medications!  There are many medications that have dual use for animals and people, but your veterinarian needs to advise you of the appropriate dosage, etc.

Tylenol, Acetaminophen, is LETHAL to dogs.  Please don't use it and please ensure that your pets cannot get to it.  In addition, chocolate in the right quantity is LETHAL to dogs.  Please ensure that it is also properly stored away from your dogs.

Best wishes and I hope your dog is well!
