I would like to supplement my dog's dry food with some fresh food. What are the best things to mix in? I have a Poodle and a Weimaraner.
Have you considered making your own homemade dog food? The video series in that link shows you how you can easily make your own healthy food. It's much better for them than most storebought brands. I've tried it and it's not too hard! Good luck!

An accquaintance of mine said that his Vet told him to mix canned green beans with his dog's food to help control the dog's weight. I have also heard of feeding a dog rice to help with diarreah. I don't know of any other food items to give your dog. Ask your Vet. My vet tells me that dry dog food is always the best for my dog.
