Can eating rabbit fecal pellets be harmful to dogs?
We have an 11 month old Black Lab/Great Dane mix, male, neutered. We live on acreage. He has the full run of the five acres but is not outside all the time, house dog as well as outside. We are usually present when he is outside. We have wild rabbits. The dog eats the rabbit droppings when he finds them. Is this harmful? We stop him when we see him doing it but he's been downsy the last couple of days and this is one of the things we were wondering about.
