A:

Woodman,

You begin by saying:

1. We live in a world of dichotomies.

2. By some kind of poetic analogy with this:  good vs. evil.

3. Therefore: god.

As for #1:  Maybe the world is dichotomous or not.  Many people have the mental habit of dividing things in two, but that doesn't prove some eternal truth.  As for the rest, I see nothing solid in it.

As for quoting the bible, yes, it causes me to roll my eyes, since I know it to be almost completely false.  Also, the stilted Jacobean English is a bore.  If people want to quote some work of fiction, they should choose one better written and edited, though quoting a fiction proves nothing.

You say:

"A father with all the compassion in the world for his child can not stop him from falling down when he runs accross the parking lot."

So, you're saying that god is a weakling and can't help us, just as the parent can't help the child.  If that's the case he should have restrained himself from creating a world he couldn't affect and from creating people just to suffer.  Let me point out the irony for those who will miss it:  if a god created this world, he is evidently the incompetent fool you suggest him to be with the parking lot story.  I however, don't believe that someone who could create a universe would be so bad at running it---therefore, I don't believe there is any such person.

"I don't know where you get this notion that Christians are no long responsible for their actions."

I know them by their fruits! (as I think you'd say).  Mostly, though, it's what they repeat over and over---things about how their sins are paid for, for example.  It seems clear to me that the fiction of a creator god is a device to justify their own selfishness and anger.  They will be surprised to learn that no one will pay for their sins except themselves.
