Documented Native-American?

Does anyone knows the U.S. land laws/rules or any other information for children and grandchildren of Native-American ancestry?  I once heard news about this, but I'm trying to re-educate myself because I found documents that lists my grandfather as being Mohawk?  I am much better at searching for information for others and not for myself.

Thanks Tip. By the way, there is a new feature in Yedda.  A creative notice for persons to rank their votes.  I just saw it when I accidentally clicked on "Found An Answer To This Question" out of sheer excitement that someone responded to mine.  Anyhow, if you haven't seen it, you must test it -- only if, you have a question pending in your activity file.  They're busy at HQ, and I like the concept.
