I think most religions see God as a being above Man, in Its own category (actually, philosophically speaking, you cannot categorize God) - and therefore He does not have a religion. He created religion (whichever religion you or others believe He created) and gave it to us humans to live by.

Following Christ according to the Law of Grace and Truth

Good question.  God is a Spirit and seeks those who would worship Him in Spirit and truth.  God is holy and only accepts that which is holy, therefore He always sets the standard of how man is to worship Him, so that man would not profane his worship of God by offering it according to his own imaginations.

The due order of worshipping God is always by a covenant God gave.  When worship is outside the boundaries of what God set by the covenant, the worship is unacceptable to God.  When worship is expressed by the covenant terms, it is perfect and pleasing to Him.

Through Jesus Christ God gave a New Covenant, which reset the order of worship to be expressed by new terms, new knowledge, new contact points and new commandments.  Although the same Law of Love applies, "Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, soul, mind and strength, and thy neighbor as thyself", yet the "how to's" of fulfilling this commandment changed in Jesus Christ.  Now the temple is not of stone, but built in the soul.  Now the tools are not held with the hands or tasted or seen, but invisible.  Worship of God now is easy, light and not burdensome.

The terms of the New Covenant are instructed to believers by apostles.  This is the office God selected to disseminate and keep pure the Doctrine of Christ, which outlines how we are to express our faith toward God and participate in fellowship with Him.  This is not religion, it is called "divine service" or "the believer's priesthood."  God calls all to the New Covenant priesthood, where Jesus is the mediator of the covenant blessings upon the soul.

Faith in Christ is simple and uncomplicated when properly instructed by living, confirmed, covenant apostles.  Man has complicated it by entwining his imaginations, his aspirations, his pride, his ambitions, his conscience, and the wisdom of the world.  All these form traditions that burden and wound the soul as it seeks to be reconciled to its Creator.

While many will say "God is love and He just wants us to love him"...we see that without a sanctified contact point to express that love through, the expression defaults to the expression of the flesh, which God does not accept.  God does not accept an expression of love/faith that follows what is common to man.  He only accepts that which follows the Rhythm of the Spirit according to the pattern of grace and truth Jesus set.

May the grace of God illuminate.

Does God have His own religion? Religion may simply be understood as a system of beliefs and practices that enable us to lead an ethical and spiritual life that sincerely practiced will benefit us individually and collectively in this life and in the Hereafter. Faith in the existence of God and His unity is the heart of belief that distinguishes the believers from pagans and polytheists and unites the followers of all monotheistic revealed religions from the time of the first prophet Adam to the last prophet Muhammad. Religion as a general term shows a variety of beliefs and practices that may or may not have a belief in a Supreme Being or Force. They may have been founded by an individual and later expanded by other individuals increasing their belief system. They may have a belief in a Hereafter, reincarnation, or only try to achieve a spiritual state in this life separate from a belief in a Creator. Monotheistic religions believe in a personal God whether immanent or transcendent or a combination. In Islam, religion in Arabic is called “deen” which includes a way of living covering every aspect of life, the political, economic and social as well as the spiritual. Worship in its broadest meaning is understood as a total service to God through obedience to His guidance. Living in this way will achieve spiritual growth in this world and the next and be pleasing to God and as a gift from Him, to be in His presence having eternal happiness in paradise. ,In Islam, we believe in one God and in His uniqueness and that He has revealed guidance through His prophets according to the conditions of the time. Regarding His essence, monotheistic religions believe He is One, unchangeable, Eternal. He has attributes that  are consistent with a Creator that loves His creation and desires what is best for it.Whatever was ordered by God at the time of revelation had to be followed in order to be considered a believer. Succeeding revelations may have cancelled, modified or added to this guidance and failure to follow the new revelation but continuing following the old revelation compromised one’s total obedience to God even though the individual still professed belief in His Oneness and having no partner in His Dominion.Islam which means submission or surrender (to the will of God) is unique in that it indicates the relationship of a believer to his Creator rather than being named after a prophet, a race of people or given a name by a human being.Sikhism is a heterodox religion combining Hindu ideas and Islamic Sufism. The word Sikh means disciple or instruction. It was founded by a guru who never claimed to receive direct Divine revelation. The Qur’an, the final word for word for the revelation that was received by the last Prophet, Muhammad, that abrogates and supersedes all previous revelations, as to what is obligatory. to do or not do and to correct wrong beliefs that have compromised the pure monotheism that is essential for establishing a proper relationship with the Creator. Wrong beliefs corrupt religion. True religion is not the property of a particular race or nationality. God’s own religion can only be the one that conforms to His will and has not been made or added to by man. Prophets and messengers have been chosen by God to bring guidance to humanity. All the prophets were Muslims. Those who accepted them and followed the revelations of that time were also called Muslims because they surrendered to the will of God. Abraham was neither a Jew or a Christian but a proto-Muslim, and in the Qur’an is called a Hanif, a Muslim, not an idol worshipper It states in chapter 5, in the last part of verse 3, “…..This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favor unto you, and have chosen for you as religion. Al-Islam,i.e ‘The Surrender’.”In chapter 61, verse 9 it is stated,” He it is Who has sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it prevail over all religion….”In chapter 2 verse 62,` Lo! Those who believe (in Islam), and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabeans-and whoever believes in Allah(the one and only deity) and the Last Day and does right-surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.”However, in chapter 3, v.85,”And whoso seeks as religion other than the Surrender(to Allah) it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter.By not accepting the message coming to the last prophet and not implementing what has been forbidden or what has been made obligatory, they have an impediment in their religion that can affect them individually or collectively as a society trying to achieve peace, harmony and stability.Naturally, we must distinguish between those who are following what is best and those who neglect distort or abandon their religion or superficially practice it. If Muslims, i.e the ones who surrender to Islam, do not practice it to the degree necessary they cannot expect to achieve its benefits. They may be punished or rewarded accordingly. Islam forbids drinking alcohol, gambling and usury and has instituted some draconian punishments for certain evil and immoral acts to prevent individuals and society from suffering the result of injurious acts. Those who do not implement this guidance must share in the responsibility of not preventing the resultant harm.It is on the Day of Judgment where all our beliefs and actions will be judged and our acceptance or rejection of Him will have its reward. Some Christians say that Muslims, or even Jews, do not worship the same God. It may be true in the sense that they describe the nature of God in a different way and how to relate to Him.However that may be, we all believe in a single God who desires our welfare.I apologize for any confusion thee may be in my comments. I am not a theologian but have only tried to show that it is humans who have tried to divide mankind or to lay exclusive claim to God, by splitting into sects, each one exulting in their own interpretation of God’s message.

The entire Buddhist monk’s life is but a preparation,
For his Death Point or moment of separation.
The Jains have santhara,
Quitting life consciously to join with the paramatma.
Hindus go into Samadhi,
Where there is no Congress, Shiv Sena, BJP or Samajwadi.
The Christian merges with the Holy Spirit,
Peace, no more desperate.
The Sufi mystic to become one,
Dances, twirls, prays, trances to get the job done.
Aghora means Illumined with Light,
Longing for Shiva in whom they delight.

Shamanism or the Art of Ecstasy,
The ultimate being one with the super entity.

There is no need to change your faith,
And on your old religion lay a wreath.
