No, BG, I never use anything like that in my daily life, not even once in a while.  Once in a blue moon (LOL) I read my horoscope in the newspaper, but that's all.  I have read about those subjects out of curiosity, but do not use them.  Some of my acquaintences have told me they've had surprise answers or predictions when they've visited a palm reader etc.  But for me, No. Never.

Hi BG.  Your question was sent to me by NJoy.  I'm happily answering it at his/her request.  I must admit that divination is a part of my daily life.  Perhaps an important part.  I know my astrological natal chart, monitor the movement of the heavenly bodies and speculate about their affects on me.  The Tarot is also a very important part of my life.  Almost everyone is born with two hands, two feet, two eyes, two ears, etc.  However, no one is born fully conscious.  This is something that everyone must develop for oneself over the course of one's life.  Life's experiences that help one to develop consciousness are unique to every individual.  However, the path toward what Carl Jung calls, "Wholeness," and, "Individuation," (well-developed consciousness, both inward and outward) is surprisingly consistent, formulaic and, thus, predictable for most everyone.  The Tarot's Major Arcana (the first 22 cards also called the Trump Cards) work very well as symbols for these, "stepping stones," toward, "Wholeness," and "Individuation."  Therefore, I do not use the Tarot, exclusively, for divination.  Mostly, I use it as a way of organizing my life, giving clarity to certain situations and reliable directions under certain circumstances.  You name the situation and I can show you a card that symbolizes it.  I also use it to divine the future, which is not as, "mystical," as one might imagine.  It's really quite rational.  I've written extensively in answer to a question similar to yours on another forum, which you might find very helpful.  In case you're interested, you may read it by clicking on the following link (my answer is the longest one on the page:):

Turn off the television and teach your children how to think.

I do not use any of these things regularly, but I have previously had psychic readings done (Tarot and otherwise) and I think there is a lot to it, if done by someone genuine. (Yes, I think there are people with genuine psychic abilities.)

But for the most part, I rely upon my instincts, intuition and perceptions as well as upon what little knowledge I may have gained over the years to help me make my daily life decisions.

(Sometimes I just 'get' things, though. And whether you call it instinct, intuition or psychic ability; it DOES work for me.)

Divination is codemned by Judism, Christianity and Islam. Also science will tell you it's a load of bull. Take your choice.
