1159 thumbs up

Just from the amount of sites dedicated to javelin (4,780,000) and discus throw (1,220,000)proves that the activity is widespread and people are still practising it. Here are some links to current events where javelin or discus were thrown: (10.2006) http://www.iaaf.org/news/Kind=131072/newsId=36435.html http://www.usatf.com/events/2006/USAMastersOutdoorTFChampionships/schedule.asp http://www.thesiac.com/spring06/trksked.htm
