Disgruntled woman

All the advice I've read on the net seems to be geared towards thin white women everyone likes, especially men. What about advice, guidance for tough yet soft hearted, obese Korean woman who needs some love and attention in her life? Are there experts who care about a woman like me? Does anyone care? They say life is hard but let me tell you that life is harder when you are not cute. Does any expert have anything to say to make me feel better??

I know that the people they use to advertise diets and things are usually cute white women, but we all know life isn't really like this. I would start with learning to love who you are, working on what's inside. Do what you love to do, have fun, live life to the fullest. Then, work on what bothers you... if you want to lose weight then just pick one of the diets that you think you can really do and stick with... and do it. Start to work out and do what will make you feel good about yourself. I hope that this helps you, or helps you at least know where to start. Good luck, and just remember that only 1% of the population of the world is actually like those tall skinny pretty white women.

Are you a pretty, tall, skinny, white woman? When Asian women are represented on TV or in Movies we are either prostitutes or some dumb submissive wimp or kung fu fighting criminals. Even the Hisory channel portrays us we were during the Korean War. Really its been 54 years since the cease fire, S Korea is no longer a poor 3rd world nation. It just seems like we can't get any love. Even in magazines where there are 100 make up tips not one does anything for Asian eyes. My eyes are small so if I put too much mascara on I CAN"T SEE and lets not mention the fake lashes.

I do appreciate your answer. But I'm just in a different place in my life where all things are not as clear as they use to be. I've been through a lot in the past 12 years. I've served in the military and got injured and let me tell you at 30 recovery is not as easy, physically or mentally. Now I have to start a new career since I can't be in the military any more.

I'm really not sure what kind of answer(s) I'm looking for. I just know that I'm just a bit lost right now.
