Disassembly of electric side mirror assembly-2006 GMC Pickup

I have to disassemble the electric side mirror on my 2006 GMS 1/2 Ton to make some internal repairs. So far I've removed the taped on rear cover piece but can't see any screws to be able to get inside behind the mirror unit. Is there any obvious way to acess it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
