i have a people i know who still use negatives and photochemicals in their photography, but most of them have digital camera themselves. they just love the way an old photo is being processed. they say , these photos developed in the darkroom somehow has spirits..and it does have a deeper meaning into it. I agree with that. with the event of digital photography.. everything seems to be easy.when im on assignment before shooting industrial sites, those images of gate valves , tools, heavy equipments seems to be more sharper on film. it really depends on how you shot the image.
